What makes Sentiments by Sarah different than most card design websites?
You will receive a one of a kind card that is customized for YOUR photos and YOUR preferences. Sentiments by Sarah are completely customized. I don't just plug in your photos and info into a pre-made card. You pick and choose what you like and don't like, tell me the colors and layouts you like and I go from there! You pay for your cards after you are completely satisfied with your proofs.
I don't see a design that works with my photos - are there other options?
I can create most anything - just tell me what colors you like and the theme and I call pull ideas together for you from there. If you are stumped for a color theme, let me pull them from your photo for a totally coordinated card.
What types of paper/finishes do you offer?
Our cardstock is offered in 4 different paper finishes, to help you truly achieve the feel that you want for your cards.
The matte finish is our thinnest paper. It has a slight gloss finish only to ensure that the colors are not dulled during printing. This paper is the most traditional of the cardstock options.
The glossy finish is the thickest of our cardstock papers. It is a matte finish card that is coated with a high glossy UV protectant. This gives the card added weight and protection against scratching. This option can give any card a bit of modern flair.
The pearl finish is a unique and fun alternative paper! This paper is medium in weight, as it is texturized and has a slightly glittered effect. We recommend this paper with pastel colors and holiday greetings.
The linen finish is the newest addition to our cardstock. This paper is also medium weight and texturized. This chic paper is a wonderful upgrade for anyone looking for a little extra touch!
What type of photo paper is used by your supplier?
Photo cards are printed on Kodak Endura Professional paper and have a lustre (matte) finish.
Panel Cards & Greeting cards are printed on heavy 100 lb cardstock and can have a semi-gloss finish, linen or pearl finish.
I can't decided on which picture to use. Can I send them and have you decide?
Yes you can. If, for some reason I cannot decide which photo looks better, I will send you multiple proofs to see which you like the most.
What type of photos do I need to send? TOP
The best photos to work with are the full resolution, original size pictures that you take with your digital camera. We can work with smaller sized photos, but they might not look as good as the original sized photos. If you do not have a digital camera, just scan your picture at 300 dpi and send that to us. Please do not crop your photos, allow me to crop them to fit the design.
Can I use photos taken by a professional?
You can use photos taken by a professional, but only with written permission from the photographer.
When will I get my cards?
Once we receive your photos, you will be emailed a proof of your card within 1-2 business days (make sure you remember to provide us with your email address). After approval of your proof, final cards will be shipped within 5-7 business days. Most often it will be done sooner than stated, depending on the season. If you are ordering photo cards to print yourself, your print quality file will be e-mailed within 12 hours of payment.
